Club Rouge Magazine is a zine hosted by the wonderful, Rouge the Bat, that aims to feature many Sonic characters in various types of fun-filled fashion and is in affiliation with @sonicfashionweek. Originally created by @pancreasman on Tumblr, it is now hosted by @lotus-start.This zine is open to any passionate artists, writers, cosplayers, and more regardless of skill or any past experience! Sign ups have been closed, and the zine is currently under construction.All proceeds of this zine will be donated to Anera's Gaza Humanitarian Aid in order to aid the people of Palestine. What is a fanzine?A physical or digital self-published book that is available for a limited amount of time. Most zines have a small window of when it will be available, you will not be able to get the zine after the window is closed.Although there are zines that are made, produced, and shipped by one person; this guide will be covering collaborative zine projects that feature a group of moderators and contributors.Projects may also be referred to as: art books, anthologies. Some of the projects within the community are not book-based and vary from: calenders, planners, playing cards, tarot cards. Although the end product is different, the process is typically the same. (source: @atozines)What is this zine about?This is a fashion-themed Sonic the Hedgehog fanzine, running under the theme that Rouge is hosting it for her own club. It's not necessarily Rouge centric; as long as it's about Sonic and fashion, it counts as part of the zine.Will there be a Discord server for the zine?Yes, the Discord server will be open on June 24, when the acceptance emails are sent out. The server will be connected with @sonicfashionweek as this zine is in affilation with the event.Will there be physical copies of this zine?Due to budgeting reasons, no.What's not allowed?The zine aims to have a PG-13 rating, so any works depicting explicit sexual content and extreme depictions of gore are not allowed.How do I join?Applications are open in the the about page on a Google Form from May 20, 2024 - June 20, 2024. All you need is to showcase your Sonic related works, or show that you have passion for Sonic, and the mods will see if you will qualify.
